Coming to a Forest Near You

forest_bathingWe’ve all heard of mud baths, ice baths and sitz baths…..but a forest bath? You bet! Forest bathing is all the rage and a new study claims that people who spend time in green spaces (it is, after all, a metaphor!) can reduce their risk of chronic illnesses such as high blood pressure, stress, anxiety and even depression.

Now, for those who might think Arizona doesn’t have any forests, you may need to to do a little more exploring in our state!  We actually have more than 42,000 square miles of mountain forests… there is plenty of room for you to test out forest therapy!
