Primary Elections Approaching

Arizona’s August primary elections are quickly approaching and are very likely to determine the make-up of the state legislature. Although most districts are solid there are still districts that may change parties and become game changers. Arizona Hospital and Healthcare Association Vice President of Government Relations, Greg Ensell, gives us an inside look in the blog below. The Primary Election is only a few weeks away. But, did you know a majority of state legislators will be chosen in the Primary, not the General Election in November?

In Arizona, the vast majority of state legislative districts favor one political party so heavily that is virtually impossible for someone of the other party to win a seat. That makes it critical that you learn about the candidates for legislature and vote.
