Arizona Primary Elections are Approaching

A great State we have

Can it be the healthiest?

Vote to make it so

The Arizona Primary Elections are two weeks away and are very likely to determine the make-up of the state legislature. You may ask yourself, why are the Primary Elections so important? The answer is simple. Most state legislative districts favor one political party making it highly unlikely for someone of the other party to win the seat. If you are registered to vote, there is still time to request an early ballot, but you only have until Friday, August 17th. If you prefer to vote in person, we will see you at the polls on August 28th! Need more information about the candidates in your district? Visit the Clean Elections Voter Guide or the AZ Central Voter Guide. As referenced by the above haiku, your vote counts and helps to achieve our goals.

Generating meaningful dialogue around the stories making headlines is another way we are working toward our long-term goal of one day making Arizona the Healthiest State in the Nation! We would like to hear your comments about this topic or any other healthcare related topic. Feeling creative? We challenge you to leave your comments as a haiku and tag us on twitter @AzHospitalAssn.
